Abstract
A National Guard Agribusiness Development Team (ADT) is composed of soldiers and civilians with abilities to provide task force and team commanders with a resource to favorably impact the agricultural sector in Afghanistan. The ADT were designed to augment the Department of State Provincial Reconstruction Teams to improve economic stability and governance capacity of the Afghan people. ADTs executed projects to improve all aspects of agribusiness; crops, livestock, infrastructure, education, and governance. This is a highlight of projects in Ghazni Province that were completed to improve the surface water and groundwater resources and infrastructure.
